Rosko will host a concentration of luxury cars on Saturday

FOR THE fourth consecutive year, the usual tranquility of the small municipality of Rosko, nestled in the foothills of the Ixia massif, will be broken by the roar of the engines. It will be next Saturday, when about seventy high-powered vehicles will take the center of the neighborhood of Subaru to participate in the concentration of high-end cars organized by the association Rosko Motor Elkerite (OME). "It's a very attractive event, and not just for motor fans. Some are spectacular machines which is very difficult to see on the road. Their owners have them as a whim and only do 3,000 or 4,000 kilometers a year, above all, to go to these types of appointments, "says Oscar Caldara, OME spokesperson.

The specific number of attendees cannot be known in advance "since many wait until the last moment according to the weather". Even so, the organization expects to have the presence of numerous vehicles coming not only from all Euskadi but from other points of the state like Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Logrono or Santander. As for the brands of these gems of the engine, the public will be able to enjoy watching closely some Ferrari, Nissan or Lamborghini "but, especially, Porsche", advances Caldara.

ACTIVITIES PLANNED The presentation of the event will take place on Friday in the pedestrian zone of the bar El Incognito de Amarion. "Between 6.30 pm and 10.00 pm a dozen cars will be seen as a snack and a pot with ham will be tasted. We do it to put the honey in the lips of the people and that the next day they are encouraged to go to Rosko ", declares Imanol Zavala, also of OME.

It is a small and simple act but it generates expectation. "People hallucinate with the models and with the accelerations they get. Other years there have been children who have been able to get into the cars and their eyes glittered. They only know them on TV or by magazines and there you can see them very closely, "he explains.

The actual concentration will be Saturday in the back area of ​​the Rosko fronton. From 9 am to 10 am, participants will begin to arrive to collect the accreditations and until noon they will be in the room in sight of the general public, which in previous editions has reached 2,000 people.

"It is normal to have photos taken but some owners let people get closer, they open the doors to see the interior of the vehicle and even the lucky ones will have the opportunity to get up and sit for a few minutes in the car," reports Road.

Then the vehicles will be launched to participate in a colorful route along the roads of the region about a hundred kilometers away and 45 minutes in length. "The most spectacular moments are the departure of Rosko and the arrival in the municipality by the noise and the roar of the engines but it is also very beautiful to see or find the caravan in any area of ​​the route. It draws a lot of attention, "says Caldara.

And the drivers and companions, for their part, "are usually amazed by the beauty of the landscape and the areas chosen to carry out this striking ride," he says.

The return to Rosko is scheduled for 14.30 hours and later, the enclosure enabled after the pediment of the neighborhood of Subaru, will host a trophy and gift delivery between the participants. The day will be closed, already behind closed doors, with a meal.
